Originally launched in 2012, Bar’s website provides breaking news, venue profiles, drinks reports, expert advice and other content from the magazine. Options for advertising on the website include banners, skyscrapers and MPUs as well as listings in the Supplier Directory, sponsored videos and hosted landing pages.
Bar Magazine provides breaking news, venue profiles, drinks reports, expert advice and other content from the Bar industry. They were looking to replace their website, which was dated and fell short of inspiring confidence and establishing corporate credibility with their target client groups.

Our challenge was to create a fresh and dynamic look for an outdated website. The site features a great deal of content, from daily news articles through to advertisements positions. The old site had a high number of page views, our job was to bring this content ‘ALIVE’ and create something much more eye catching to improve the visitors experience.
Using heatmaps we researched the users experience and worked alongside our client to establish which sections should take precedence and which were no longer engaging the user and therefore could be removed.
We evolved a text driven website into a visual orientated experience, the imagery is now so dynamic and interesting that we had to accentuate it more. Thanks to these vast improvements more advertisement options were introduced into the layout, increasing revenue and content.
